As you know I love to tell the story behind every wedding and this story goes way back, all the way back to elementary school! Ally (the bride) and I went to Chapel Christian Academy together! If you would have told little elementary school Dan that one day I would be photographing her wedding I probably would have said “Eww gross! COOTIES!!!”. Not much has changed! Just kidding!! Obviously I have grown up!
We spent the day at Manatawny Camp in Douglassville photographing this beautiful wedding! Ally and Mark must have spent endless hours planing this wedding because it was breath taking. With the sun shining and her father by her side, Ally stepped out of the doors into the start of her married life. With tears flowing Mark couldn’t stop smiling from ear to ear. After they shared their vows and rings Mark and Ally had a little something special for everyone! The two of them sang the most beautiful song together. When the song ended they were announced husband and wife and shared their first kiss!
We had a lot of fun getting the family photos and moved onto the bridal party. We had plenty of time with just Mark and Ally so we hopped in the car and drove down the road to a few special locations for more pictures.
The reception was just as magical as the ceremony. You could feel the love in the room as they shared their first dance. From there it was onto the blessing of the food, provided by Wilson Catering, and the toasts. Both fathers reminisced on old times and their excitement for the life that Ally and Mark are starting together. The rest of the night was filled with excitement. There was cutting of the cake which never disappoints and dancing to some life music!
I hope you guys enjoyed this wedding as much as I did!
I have to give a quick shout out to Dan Fosse for helping me photograph the wedding! Brit was out of town and he stepped up and spent the day with me! Thanks Fosse!
Thanks
Dan
