Ash & Tim – Engagement

Dan and I met Ash and Tim at the Sunnybrook Bridal Expo and as soon as we talked to them Dan and I knew that we wanted to photograph their wedding! They are such a fun, goofy and loving couple! Ash and Tim wanted their engagement session to have a country feel. My Uncle has a beautiful restored barn and was gracious enough to let us use his property to photograph them! ( Thanks Uncle Kyle!) The weather was beautiful and the light was amazing!

Now there is an amazing story behind this guitar! Tim wanted to do something really special for Ash when he proposed so he decided that he was going to buy a guitar and learn how to play her favorite song! He set up a beautiful dinner by a lake and had lights strung up all around and pulled out the guitar and sang the song! He then got down on one knee and asked her to be apart of his life forever!

While photographing Ash and Tim we really got to see their awesome personalities. We laughed the whole time and when we left we felt like we had made new friends! Here is a behind the scene photo of Ash dancing and singing trying to make Tim laugh for his portrait. Not only did she dance and sing but he then also did the same for her!

Dan and I have been wanting to do a creek photoshoot for so long and thought that Ash and Tim would be the perfect couple! They had no problem getting wet…well let’s be honest soaked! They had a blast splashing each other and we even got to join in on the splashing action.
